ColorFoil 2.0 – Upscaling Coloured Solar Technology
ColorFoil 2.0 brings innovative structural colour technology for solar panels from proven concept to industrial scale.
The project will develop and demonstrate roll-to-roll manufacturing of coloured interlayer foils that enable aesthetically integrated solar panels with angle-independent colours and low power loss.
Together with partners across the full value chain, the project will scale the technology towards industrial production, qualify coloured PV modules and demonstrate ColorFoil in real-world building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) applications.
